Mean Reversion For U.S. Employment Data. Here Comes U.K. Brexit II!

June Jobs Roar Back
Traders were left scratching their heads following the June employment report Friday which indicated that employment had gained by 287K in the month. This was substantially higher than the revised gain of only +11K in May. The consensus forecast had been for a 180K advance. The average monthly increase in Jobs for the last three months has only been 147K. Some economists say the U.S. needs to be producing jobs consistently above 200K per month for the Fed now to even consider a rate hike.
