Strong U.S. Employment Report Will Need Confirmation: Week Ahead

Strong U.S. Jobs Data
May U.S. jobs data saw a considerably stronger than expected +280K gain (+225k expected) in monthly employment and a 0.30% increase (+0.320% expected) in average hourly earnings. I don't think this a game-changer for the data-dependent Fed, but it might put an earlier Fed rate hike back in the frame. However, confirmation in future data will be required given the volatility of these data on a month-to-month basis. Unfortunately, other data recently have been mixed.
