Featured Chart of The Day: March German IFO Survey Stronger than Expected

The March German Ifo Business Climate Survey improved to 107.9 from 106.8 in February. The street had been expecting a reading of 107.3. The March index was at its highest since July 2014. Ifo reported that companies are satisfied with their current business situation, and are optimistic about the future. German data generally had been on an improving path even before the European Central BanK (ECB) announced a n aggressive Quantitative Easing (QE) a month ago. This report should be constructive for the Euro.
