Does the Forex Market Hate the U.S. Dollar?

With the dollar so far again defying forecasts of a stronger currency this year, one has to ask the question whether this is temporary or part of a more fundamental weakness in this currency.  As I wrote in our July newsletter, the dollar is caught in both camps of a race to the top vs. a race to the bottom of the forex food chain and this may explain its performance so far this year. However, it also raises the question, “Does the Forex Market Hate the Dollar? I address this in the following article as it has implications for what may lie ahead.
