FXDD Exits U.S. But Still in Business

While it has not been formally announced and is subject to regulatory approval, it appears that FXDD has agreed to sell its U.S. client base to FXCM. I got this information from an FXDD IB who was out soliciting accounts before the body turned cold. It is important to note that this does not mean that FXDD is exiting the retail forex brokerage business but more likely will focus its efforts on its non-U.S. forex broker business. This continues a disturbing trend in the U.S. that has seen Retail Foreign Exchange Dealers (RFEDs) either close down completely or leave the country to focus attention abroad.
